How fun is this! Thanks manda! This is the 4th pic in my 4th folder. We were in the San Francisco airport waiting for our flight to board. We were headed home from Jeff's cousin wedding in Santa Cruz, which was so much fun! Mike and Roye's wedding nestled in the beautimous Redwoods! It was so romantic! What a cool wedding! I remember right across the street, Sami showed me albino peacocks!

1 year of blissful marriage!!!
Yes, can you believe it?? It's already been a year! In celebration of our commitment to each other we had an anniversary weekend! Monday was the actual day, but we decided to go all out and celebrate it 4 days in a row!!! Whoo hooo!! Friday night we went to Sushi at Tsunami, it was so delicious, I swear they had just flown the fish in 15 minutes before we got there! Saturday, Jeff had planned a fancy schmancy dinner in Park City, so I called one of my most dearest friends, Heather, to go shopping with me and help me find the perfect dress!
Jeff and I ate dinner at Grappa on Main Street, it was really fun! Then, we headed to the Marriott downtown. We stayed there on our wedding night too, so it's sentimental to us. : ) We drank our Dom Perignon (gift from the Molletts)and reminised about our wedding ceremony, reception and honeymoon. It was so nice... Then on Sunday we went a little more low key and ate at Five Guys Burgers and Fries! Yumm! There beef is all natural!!! After that we went shopping and got some good smelling lotions, perfumes, and oil stuff for the house. Yes, there's more! Monday, finally rolled around, we ate lunch at the Point, where we got married of course, and then we went to Brewvies to watch Pineapple Express, which I don't recommend. duh! duh! Then, we went home for a dinner, made by Jeff Lane! Enjoy the pics!

Annie's 2nd birthday!! (Sep 20th)
My niece Annie (beeba) turned 2 on September 20th. The party started at the Kangaroo Zoo in Pleasant Grove. You can see from the pics there aren't any real kangaroos, but they call it that because it has alot of different bouncy blow up jumper thingys : ) After that we went back to her house for pizza and presents! She got super spoiled and enjoyed every minute of it. Happy Birthday Beeba!

Kristin's visit September 11-15

My littlest sister from Washington came to stay with Jeff and I a few weeks ago. We got to know each other and just hung out and had a great time! I hadn't seen her since she was 7 and she's now 17!!! She brought her way cool boyfriend, Josh with her too. It was alot of fun getting to know these guys. My favorite part of the whole trip was watching Krisi and Josh get to know their adorable nieces and nephew. It was so satisfying for me. I think it brought me peace and closure in regards to my family situation in Washington. I can't wait for our next visit with Krisi and Josh whether it be Jeff and I going up there or them coming back down here.

The leaves are changing!
Have you noticed? Can you feel the crispness in the air? I love this time of the year, it's just so beautiful. Today is the first day since early spring, I have worn a sweater. I love summer time, but man! I miss wearing my sweaters and dressing warm. The official first day of Autumn isn't until Spetmeber 22nd this year, but it's just so close, I can't wait.
How silently they tumble down
And come to rest upon the ground.
To lay a carpet, rich and rare,
Beneath the trees without a care,
Content to sleep, their work well done,
Colors gleaming in the sun.

The Hunt!
We're back, and yes, Jeff got a deer, not sure if you can call it a buck. It's a he she, a hermaphrodite! It had both male and female anatomy! Have you ever heard of anything so freaky? It was a fun hunt, Jeff hunted morning and night for 5 days, and brought this one back to camp. We slept during the day and watched movies on the laptop! See Kaia under Jeff's legs? LOL
Rocky thought the horseshoe pit was the perfect spot for him, he must have thought the boys dug it out just for him! : )

Paunsaugunt Plateau scouting trip
Wow! We just got back from the Paunsaugunt. Saturday morning, we woke up early to go look around and see what the business is this year. We saw some really nice 3 and 4 points, probably about 20 or so. As the morning went one, we decided to drive on this road Jeff found last year, it runs parallel with the main road where we saw the 20 bucks. As we were driving along, we saw a few deer cross the road in front of us and we started to get excited. At 8:40 am, we saw the cactus buck or one just like him!!! Jeff got some sweet footage, I'll try to load it today so you can see what I'm talking about. It's at least a 12 by 12 and has "junk" all over it's rack, knobby points that stick out. This is the one Jeff will be trying for, unless he happens to see something, bigger and better. ; )
After we got back from the morning scout, we were setting up camp and Rocky and Kaia were running all over the place, chasing birds, digging and playing like the crazy dogs they are when Jeff and I heard a bark/yelp? Not really sure, but about 15 minutes later, I noticed a pretty gnarly gash on Kaia above her left front leg. We decided we better take her to the Vet in case she had been bitten by some wild animal or something. We drove 2 hours to Cedar City and found a Vet that met us at his office, he sewed Kaia up with 2 stitches and we drove back to camp. She's a little sore, but she is doing good and healing fast. Poor baby!
Later that night on the evening scout, we say 3 bull elk and a cow elk with her baby. It was so cool, that was my first time EVER seeing bull elk in the wild. Amazing! Saturday morning, we saw about 15 cow elk and the same 20 or so bucks from the morning before, we looked for the trashy buck, but didn't get the chance to see him again. : (
Sometimes it's crazy how things fall into place, I think it has alot to do with what you're thinking and the energy you release. It's just amazing!
