I cut it!

Yep, I finally got my hair chopped! Jeff has been wanting me to leave it long and flowy for the past few years. Well, I was having a super bad day yesterday, he's in Reno, and I had an appointment with Lindsay Lane. (The bestest at doing hair ever!) I sat in her chair and she said, 'k love, what are we doing today?' I said, choping it off and dying it black! Of course she wouldn't allow the black but did an awesome job on cutting it short. It's perfect! Seriously the best hairdo I've ever had. Lindsay means so much to me and helped me deal with a really hard pivot point in my life yesterday, she knows how to listen and what to say when it needs to be said. Truly a blessing she is! I love her to death! Thanks Lindsay, for everything!

Eden Marie, June 3, 2008

She's here! Tuesday morning at 4:30 am, I got a phone call from Amanda saying she was in labor. Jeff and I drove down to Lehi and stayed with Emi and Annie while Ron and Amanda went to the hospital to have the baby. At about 7:30 am she was born. She is so beautiful and perfect! I have some very cute pics of the whole family and will upload them hopefully, tonight. We'll see how that goes... Welcome to the O'Hara family Eden, we are so glad you joined us!

We found him!

Yes, that's right, he came out of hiding! We got back last night from California, and there he was at the bottom of the stairs. Thank goodness, he's ok! Anyway, Jeff and I have pretty much determined that Kaia and Rocky are tormenting the kitties when we're gone, so we'll just have to either move sooner or get a fence put up. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers!

Our little Rustad (russy)

This is one of the strangest things ever! Elise last saw Rustad Monday morning before taking off to her new job. He's been missing ever since. We have looked high and low, literally, we've taken pieces of sheet rock of the walls thinking maybe, he's in the walls somehow? It is just so bizarre. Elise went to Petsmart yesterday and bought a Pet Pheremones plug in thingy that is supposed to relax and calm the environment. Still nothing! We are on day 4 of him missing in the house! It's just so frustrating, we need prayers again! As always, thanks for your love and support. Right back atchya!

Elise's new job!!!

Hi all! It's been a while since we've posted anything! I started my new job on Monday. I have to say this is the greatest place I've ever worked. I absolutely love it here! I have my own office with a stunning view of the mountains, I look to my left and there's Big Cottonwood Canyon! The people are amazingly nice and the benefits are unheard of! My commute is about 2 miles further but takes me the same amount of time, I travel opposite of traffic morning and night, it's great! That's all for now, thanks for listening. Have a great day!

What is a Pet Super Adoption? No More Homeless Pets in Utah holds two Pet Super Adoption events each year-one in early May and one in September. These are three day adoption events (Fri-Sun) and typically over 25 rescue groups and shelters from all over Utah participate. There are usually over 800 dogs and cats available for adoption at each event. Between 8,000-10,000 people visit each adoption event and over 350 animals are adopted out during each adoption weekend. Often participating shelters are able clear out their shelters during these very important weekends. Each Super Adoption typically has a theme. This year’s spring event is: Paw it Forward, adopt from a shelter or rescue and save a life.

Dr. Cox, Cottonwood Animal Hospital

This is our wonderful Dr. Cox! Rocky went in yesterday for his post surgery check up. Dr. Cox removed his stitches and said he is looking and doing great! We are so thankful that we ended up with one of the best vets in the state to take care of our Rock. This is now our permanent Dr. for the babies. He's gonna love Bella! ... LOL :0) Jeff and I highly recommend him to everyone who truly cares for their pet's health and well being. What an awesome Doc!!!

Rocky goes to Therapy

Rocky had his first session of therapy yesterday! He is doing so good! I'ts amazing... the vets are just astonished by his rapid improvement and his positive attitude. Above is a picture of him in the underwater treadmill. He also got in the E-stim tub, which is like a hot tub with jets, just not as hot. They put him in a full body life jacket and he just floats there. He goes in Friday for his 2nd dose of therapy. Dr. Pam (will post pic soon) said he will be 100% in about 3 weeks. Elise and I think about 2 weeks. Look at him! We are truly blessed.. what a miracle the power of prayer is. Thanks for looking, more to come soon! : )
